This policy explains what cookies are, which cookies the belona.ro website uses and how you can manage your preferences. The website is operated by AMHOTECH SOFTWARE S.R.L., tax ID (CUI) 47079907, Trade Register no. J2022021395404, with its registered office in Bucharest, Sector 1, 62 Petre S. Aurelian Street.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser when you visit it. They allow the website to work properly and to remember your preferences. Besides cookies, there are also similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage.
Which cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary cookies
They are indispensable for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They do not require your consent, under Article 4(5) of Law no. 506/2004.
- WordPress technical cookies: they ensure the basic functioning of the platform. For ordinary visitors, who do not log in, the website does not save session cookies.
- Server security and performance cookies: they may be used by the hosting service for protection against attacks and for fast delivery of pages.
- bl_consent (local storage, belona.ro): remembers your choice regarding analytics cookies. Duration: 12 months.
- bl_wx (session storage, belona.ro): temporarily keeps the air and sea temperature shown in the header, so that it is not requested on every page. It is deleted when you close the browser. The data come from the Open-Meteo weather service, which receives your device’s IP address when queried.
2. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how the website is used: pages visited, length of visit, traffic source and device type. The data is aggregated and helps us improve the website. The Google Analytics code is loaded only after you give your consent through the cookie banner; if you decline, it is not loaded at all.
- _ga: distinguishes unique visitors. Duration: 2 years.
- _ga_<ID>: keeps the session state. Duration: 2 years.
The website does not use advertising cookies.
3. Third-party content
The logo of the NETOPIA payment processor, displayed in the page footer, is loaded from its servers. When online payment becomes available, the processor’s payment page will use its own cookies, necessary for the transaction, in accordance with its policy.
How you manage your preferences
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link, which is also available in the footer of every page.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
Transfer of data outside the EU
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
